Porcelain is a natural material and may show small variations in final volume and finish. We know colour consistency is important, so some mugs are made at the same factory as their matching dinnerware to ensure alignment. Other coloured Bobby mugs come from a second factory with slightly different processes, which can result in very small size differences between colours, while all mugs of the same colour remain consistent within themselves. Subtle variations are part of the process—we like to think the best things in life aren’t too perfect.
